AVIX-AI BirdThreat

Computer-vision detection that publishes Animal-class entities directly to the Anduril Lattice catalog.

Overview

AVIX-AI BirdThreat is the publishing layer of UAM Korea Tech's Protection pillar. It runs computer vision against camera, radar, and acoustic feeds, applies Re-ID tracking on every frame, and emits Animal-class entities to the partner's Lattice instance — typically within two seconds of detection. The product is anchored to the December 2024 Muan accident as its operational reference event.

Capabilities

04 listed
  1. 01

    Multi-sensor ingest

30 fps RGB + IR cameras, 360° solid-state radar, 4-channel acoustic array — normalised at the edge so the inference layer is sensor-agnostic.

  2. 02

Re-ID tracking + Habitat Profile Engine

YOLO-class detector at 4 ms/frame, Re-ID tracker for multi-target persistence, plus a Habitat Profile Engine that contextualises detections against the airfield's known species composition.

  3. 03

    Lattice publish layer

TEMPLATE_TRACK with disposition NEUTRAL, plus the April 2026 platform_type: Animal primitive when available. altitudeHaeMeters supported for high-altitude tracks.

  4. 04

    BSM 2.0 closed-loop OS

Five-stage feedback loop (IN → PROCESS → OUT → SOLUTION → KPI) so the system's false-positive rate trends down over a season of operation rather than staying flat.

Validation

What is verified.

19/19

HTTP 200 entity submissions on the Anduril Lattice SDK during the Incheon Technopark notice 2026-177 demonstration (commit fbcb327, 2026-04-20).

< 2 s

Median latency from sensor ingest to Lattice publish across the validation corpus.

V5.1

Software version with Animal-schema patch (2026-04-24) — first publisher to ship the new primitive natively.

Deployment

03 contexts
  1. 01

    Civilian airport

Sensors mounted at the localiser and far-field markers. Output flows to airport ATC and airline operations. Anchored on the Muan 7C2216 incident envelope.

  2. 02

    UAM vertiport

Coverage of the vertical funnel + transition arc + cruise corridor (see UAM vertiport article). Output feeds the vertiport operator's Lattice instance and the eVTOL flight management system.

  3. 03

    Military airfield (dual-use)

Co-located with CBRN-CADS hazard zones. Animal-class entities and chemical control areas share the same operator decision interface.
